Python Script Editor not opening

I just installed Python 0.6.0.3 on Rhino 6 and GH 1.0.000.7
But Python Script Editor does not open when hitting the node. Is there a version issue?
Newbie grateful for advice.

What does this mean exactly? Grasshopper in Rhino 6 ships with the GHPython component natively. And Rhino has had the EditPythonScript editor since version 5. So you shouldn’t have to install anything.

OK, thanks. I was not aware of this and might have messed up installing another version from Food4Rhino. Will try to uninstall that one,

Regret, uninstalling this extra Python did not help. Same behavior as before: the Python component that came with Rhino shows up as expected but the Script Editor does not.
