Pufferfish to PackageManager

Would it be possible to get Pufferfish released/delivered in the Package Manager for Rhino 7?

Pretty please!

When I move to V3.1 and stop supporting R5 then I will.

Any luck on seeing that in 2025 ?
Keep it up !

After installing with Rhino’s “PackageManager”, I only got the menu with SubD. And those components didn’t work either.

Now I moved the Pufferfish folder from:

c:\...\User\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\packages\8.0\

to:

c:\...\User\AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\Libraries\

And now it works. Edit!: but the SubD menu is missing!

Hopefully this is helpful information.

I am facing the problem also. The issue is the location of the .gha file.

It should be moved from Pufferfish3-0 folder to the root 3.0.0 and then it works.
SubD objects are User Objects and require the GHA to load.

@Michael_Pryor Can you please fix this? Thanks!

I placed the “Pufferfish WIP SubD Components” folder in the “UserObjects” folder:

c:\...\User\AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\UserObjects\

Now everything does function.

But shouldn’t all this happen automatically with the PackageManager?

Yes, but the package has the GHA file in the “wrong” place. It would be nice if Rhino would load all the .gha’s even from subfolders, but it seems it does not do this.
So we are waiting for the Pufferfish package to be fixed.

It should be fixed now or soon thanks to @will

Is fixed :folded_hands:

It was my mistake, this what happens when I don’t read the documentation

Michael, thanks for the fix. Again I installed Pufferfish with the PackageManager. And it seems fine now, including the SubD menu. Thanks.

Thank @will :folded_hands:

Works like a charm!
