Properties panel won't stay where I want it to be

Hi,

I have a user interface issue with Rhino, could somebody help me ?

I want to put the properties panel here, below the other tabs :

But it never remembers this position, everytime I reopen Rhino I get this :

Hi Felix -

Yes, that’s one of those things. Sometimes it helps when you close all instances of Rhino, start a Rhino session as Administrator, put the panels in place and then close and restart Rhino in the usual manner.
The UI foundation is rewritten in Rhino 8, and, hopefully, this behavior goes away…

Thank you for the advice. It suddenly worked for no apparent reason before I saw your reply… I don’t know what I did, at some point when I opened files it just worked.
