Offset random wave curves?

Hello, I’m looking for ideas how to solve this in grasshopper. first, how to define random wave curve, so they all are different but also tangent in several spots. so parametrically change number of lines, number of tangencies between them… [image] After that i think i know how to add an offset mid curve and loft them. goal is this king of geometry, hoping to have it parametric. Stacking curves (How To)

Here a little script that enables to stack curves without (or quite) intersections.It was done to answer a question on this forum but as the one who asked doesn’t care I post it here [wavy curves] [wavy curves2] [wavy curves31] The logic is simple Make a list of curve with same extension on X and Y. I used 4Dnoise here. [image] Divide the curves in points (400 points here) and find the minimum distance between 2 consecutive curves. [image] Moves the curves UP [image] wavy curve…

But you can do similar thing by stacking curves in 3D
