Problems with OnCurve component

Hello
I am trying to make a bending-active structure, but the OnCurve-component doesn’t seem to work. Can someone please help me solving this problem? I am using the example for bending-active structures provided by Daniel Piker, but i doesn’t work when i apply my own mesh.

Your points don’t match your grid.

You need to either increase the tolerance setting in Kangaroo, or better - create the input geometry differently so the points exactly coincide.

Okay thank you for your answer! Do the points have to placed right in the intersections of the gridlines?
