Printing to scale

I need someone in the Ashville, NC area to help me with Printing to scale in Rhino. I seem to have a mental block when it come to outputting to scale. Like to hire someone in my area for a days tutorial.

Thanks,

Hamp Stevens

All you need really is to make a layout with the desired paper size and select the layout detail that you want to set the scale for and do that.

As long as the model content is to scale its fairly straight forward.

A rhino viewport scale properties

Standard US Scale Factors

  1. Select the desired scale. 1/8" = 1’-0"
  2. Invert the fraction and multiply by 12. 8/1 x 12 = Scale Factor 96

Thanks for your input. Actually I am looking for someone to come to my office and work with me for a day to help me master printing to scale. My application is semi complex and a good tutor would be a real help. I’ve watched all Rhino’s videos on the subject and it just did not register with me. I’m beginning to think I have a mental block on the subject.

Thanks,
