Hi
Does anybody know how to export a 3D object to powerpoint so it keeps the colors from rhino?
Hi @Astrid_Kjærbølling
It looks as if *.glb works OK, although the lighting in Powerpoint seems a little bright. Actually *.obj should be OK, but Powerpoint gets the highlight color wrong, making the colors look weird. Not sure if it’s a Rhino export or a Powerpoint import thing
I have tried both obj and now glb format but my ship is still white.
I have tried to add both material and just normal color from layer but I still can get the color.
Could i get you to share your setttings it would be a great help
Hi @Astrid_Kjærbølling
The “colors” here are materials. If you are looking to get the layer colors, I think there’s a script somewhere that will convert layer colors to material colors. I’m attaching the export settings, but I don’t think I’ve changed anything from the default settings… but I might have
Also I’m attaching the 3dm and glb, so that you can check that you are getting the same on your computer
boxes.3dm (2.0 MB)
boxes.glb (3.0 MB)

You need to apply a material.
To the layer or to individual objects.
On export, uncheck this:
