pourquoi mon plugin Orca 3D n’apparait plus avec Rhino 8 ??

Orca3D Version 2 will not run in Rhino 8, even with the /netfx switch. To run in Rhino 8, you need Orca3D Version 3.

Version 2 is compatible with Rhino 6 and 7.

Version 3 is compatible with Rhino 7 and 8.

Also, when using Orca3D Version 3 in Rhino 8, you should add /netfx at the end of the properties (don’t forget the /).

To run in Rhino 8, right-click on the Rhino 8 desktop icon, select Properties, and add /netfx at the end of the target so that it reads “C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Rhino.exe” /netfx and then always start Rhino using this icon (don’t double-click a .3dm file)

With an emphasis on the “E” in ETA…we’re targeting the end of February. We’re still receiving a lot of good feedback from the WIP users and making improvements based on that, as well as wrapping up moving all of the V2 functionality to V3 (specifically the Grasshopper components). In the meantime we’re continuing to extend everyone’s evaluation licenses so that they can continue to use the WIP until the release.
