orca3d(WIP) v3 on Rhino 8 runs extremely slowly. The speed is so slow that it is better to stay with version 2, but Rhino 8 requires version 3. I wanted to test the usefulness and functionality of version 3 (WIP), but for the time being I have to stay with Rhino 8 and Orca v2.
Maybe I am not aware of something, please advise.
Hi, can you please be more specific? Is it slow loading, or slow doing calculations?
Can you confirm that you followed this step:
- To run in Rhino 8, right-click on the Rhino 8 desktop icon, select Properties, and add /netfx at the end of the target so that it reads “C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Rhino.exe” /netfx and then always start Rhino using this icon (don’t double-click a .3dm file)
