plesLOFT/POINT ORDER

Hello, for a project I am trying to create a rock-like shape, t I decided to go through array scale rotate and lofting. However, when using loft, the curves are lofting ordered to the way they have been created. Is there a way to change that? are there any suggestions for how can I do it elsewhere?



I make shapes like this differently:

  1. Make a 2D plane curve that is the bottom shape
  2. Use a GenePool as input to Scale to create a series of differently sized copies of your base curve (I usually use the default 10 values.) The GenePool sliders will show you the basic shape of the final part.
  3. Use Series to create 10 evenly spaced values as input to Move in the Z direction that will move the curves from to 10 increasingly high elevations.
  4. Use Series to create 10 evenly spaced values as input to Rotate (set to degrees) to get the amount of rotation you want. Or, if you want to get extra fancy, use GenePool to set different rotations for curves at different elevations.
  5. Loft the curves.
