Hi guys
Here is the problem: How can I interrupt the multipipe at the intersection points of the segments at a certain distance so as to have a result similar to the one in the drawing?
Any help is welcome
Thank you very much and happy designing
Extend the curves with a negative value. Instead of multipipe, you can also use the regular pipe component and create separate spheres at the intersections.
I see you’re using the lunchbox plugin. I don’t. Due to that, I’m not downloading your definition.
I added the ‘lunchbox’ tag…
thank u so much i didn’t know i need i tag
i’m trying to do with a normal pipe in another way but i’m stucked here: the line came across the sphere. did u know how can i deal with this?
i’m using a launchbox component just to randomly subdivide the surface

something like this might work, it uses Extend Curve on shattered segments like suggested by Martin:

because you didn’t internalize your initial Surface, I drew one on my own, you’ll need to reference your from your Rhino file
Grazie Mille!
Thank u so much man!
If you have time I would like to ask you one more question:
What if i got some curve like this generated by a svg file, how can i apply the same workflow?
I’m new in grasshopper and i really dont understand how breps works: why i cant do this with a curve
Thanks again for your time

P.S. for the svg file component i’m using Pancake
I don’t want to be pedantic
Btw i think i found a solution on my own
in any case, if anyone is interested, don’t hesitate to contact me, I can only be enthusiastic about about sharing ideas and projects
