I wondered if Visual Arq is working on a tool to make it possible to upload existing (PDF) plans and turn them automatically into a 3D (BIM) model. Sorry to be so straightforward but I know there are companies working on similiar tools and it would be amazing to have this feature in Visual Arq.
Can you name a few?
I’d say this is a very, very complex problem, and it would be interesting to see how people go about it.
Completely automated 2d>3d sounds a bit like self-driving cars. Promises and problems.

Hi @Pieter_Slock, that’s interesting! As you may know VisualARQ provides tools to convert 2D lines into walls, curtain walls, openings, slabs… but in that automated way. This could be a field to explore for future versions.
Are there any plans to integrate visualarq with automation or artificial intelligence as it is the trend today? and software with BIM methodology is going in that direction
Hi @miguelayora3 there are no specific plans for that, but we are certainly interested in this field and will keep an eye on how this technology evolves so we can eventually take advantage of it.
