PBR Materials Duplicating / Issues Rhino 8

Hi Team,

Wondering if you can help me with this issue.
In Rhino 8 (Rhino 8 SR19 2025-5-12 )
I create 1 physically based material - all good.

When I create a second physically based material it will copy the properties of the first one. Thus I can only use 1 pbr at a time.

This seems to happen in Rhino WIP too but not in rhino 7

Any Fixes or ideas welcome.

I found the solution. I am using a PBR website called ‘A23D’ and they give all of the PBR materials the same name inside the Zip folder, change the names and you are all good

Yes, this is a known issue. Indeed renaming the textures is the way to go. Perhaps you can log a request with the A23D site to generate unique names for assets they generate.
