Pan vs Zoom issue using trackpads - switching back to Windows from Mac

Having used Rhino 3D on Mac for a couple of years, I’ve become accustomed to two-finger dragging on the MacBook’s trackpad to pan around. Zooming in and out is achieved by two-finger pinching in and out.

Switching from Rhino 3D for Mac back to Rhino 3D for Windows, two-finger dragging on the Surface Pro 11’s trackpad zooms in and out instead of panning. Pinching in and out also zooms in and out. To pan, I need to hold down right-click with one finger while using another finger to drag, replicating what we would do with a mouse. This often feels like finger gymnastics while the way it has been implemented on the Mac feels elegant and intuitive.

Is there a way to alter the trackpad behaviour to be the same as Rhino 3D for Mac (feature parity)?

I had a look at Rhino’s mouse settings but those only offered options for middle mouse buttons. Windows’ mouse and trackpad settings didn’t help either. If there’s no such option for Rhino 3D on Windows, can Rhino devs push this request to the front of the queue? (Joking…)
