hello everyone!!
am working on a project (dome structure) that includes three elements in three separate groups: rings(hoops), radials, diagonals and i want to optimize the cross-section in each group.
i ran the optimization and i got uniform cross sections for the rings group and radials as well, but for the diagonals group the cross-sections were variable as it mentioned in the picture below.
ps: when i define only diagonals panel for GroupIDS i got a uniform cross-section for it.
i will appreciate if someone can tell me what can be the problem and how i can fix it !!!
