Rhino takes long time to populate file names in a large folder, when opening or saving file. Is there a setting to speed it up?

Do you mean that it goes a lot quicker if you do the same from any other application?

Yes. When I open the folder directly or access thru the email program to attach a file, it shows the whole content immediately. Rhino takes about 8 seconds.
