Offset moves Curve seam in latest version - bug?

I just installed 8.5.24072.13001, 2024-03-12 and suddenly the offset curve component in grasshopper changes the seam of a curve. This was never a thing before.

This is Rhino 7 (and in Rhino 8.4 this seemed to be working fine as well)

This is Rhino 8.5

It’s causing issues in a tool I’ve made a few years ago and would be nice if this becomes back the way it was.

Thanks, I actually prepared a file but was in a rush so forgot to add it

R8 breaks basics. Extrude, now it is Offset Curve.

Thanks for reporting, i’ll get a you track going to investigate. I did find a youtrack from 7 years ago with something similar.

Currently I am seeing it as a regression. RH-81013
