Odd Gumball-by-Object behaviour when selecting CP rows

Odd Gumball-by-Object behaviour when selecting CP rows. It’s been happening for some time in WIP–

Selecting one point previews correctly:

Window selecting a group of points also works:

Double-clicking rows sets the Gumball incorrectly to something else, not to the CPs:

To set the GB to the CPs, you need to deselect a point and the GB displays correctly:

Hi, any thoughts?

Hi @wim
Are you able to assist with this?
Thanks

Hi,

Sorry for being slow to respond. I’m having a hard time reproducing this. If I double click a row in one direction then shift over and double click a row in the different direction the gumball behaves how I’d expect.

The only time I see the gumball get out of UVN mode is when the surface is accidentally selected when trying to double click the control polygon. Can you share more specific instructions that will reproduce this every time? Once I can reproduce the bug then I can fix it.

Thanks @Joshua_Kennedy

I described the steps above each image in the first post. Fundamentally, in Gumball Object mode, when I double-click a CP row, the gumball does not align to the UVN.

If I pre-select one point then double click on the row, the GB displays in UVN mode as expected.

Could there be something in my Gumball settings causing this?

Thanks
