In Rhino 7 if I want to change an objects color I click on the object then from the Properties menu I select the Display Color or Print Color option and I get a drop down list of colors to select. In Rhino 8 I get four options, By Display, By Layer, By Parent and Custom. If I click on custom I end up with a defauls custom color. How do I select a color please.

Or if you already set it to Custom, it will show a color sample:
Once the custom color has been set once, the next time you set an object to custom, it will get this color by default, you can then again click on the color sample to set a different color.
Thanks very much. I assumed the icon was there to show what mode you are in. I should have played around a bit more.
