Number tags for 3d printing

So why require the plugin?

I see you are using Text from OpenNest.

P.S. Instead of Loft you can use Boundary Surface.
P.P.S. Ah, but that fails on some cells for the same reason I mentioned - Offset Curve is messed up with short segments. Clipper PolyOffset is much better.

Because it’s easier to select the cells for exporting to the 3d printing slicer.
The above is with the plugin and the bottom is without.

From the little that I know, buondry surface works only with 1 closed polyline and not 2. There are 2 because I offset them the create the thickness of the cell.

Not true!

Strange I didn’t use this one. This one is similar to scalePosition command in Rhino.

The other tool I like a lot and that I never saw elsewhere is the “Pack Geometries On Grid”. it is useful to see geometries without using a nesting tool.

I will try it.

I have used it.

Merge works only when the data trees match, which they easily don’t in your code.

youre right. i didnt notice it

Looks like you have a good handle on GH fundamentals though, well done!

Haha, this is wise! Why you have to etch it to the body!

Hi
I would rather export the pattern to cut it with co2 laser. Less work
