Not show wireframe on selection

I apologize in advance if the topic already exists here, but I couldn’t find it.

Is it possible to not display the wireframe when selecting an object? For example, I have a rendered view and I select an object, but I want to highlight only its outline for clarity.

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi Antonín -

We have that feature request on our list as RH-31739.
I’ve added this thread.

Thanks

Any plans to implement this feature? It is really needed when working with large models.

Here is an example. Its impossible to pick a point to move the object!

Hi Hari -

You could try the Rhino.Options.General.SilhouetteHighlighting advanced setting to see if that works better for you. There are a few other “SilhouetteHighlight” settings, so you can search for that term to find them all.

Hi Wim

Apologies for delayed response. Unfortunately I do not see an option for SilhouetteHighlighting by following the path you recommended (Screenshot below - I am using Rhino 8 (most recent update)) . There is an option for Show surface Isocurves - but that did not help for this issue.

Sorry Wim, I just realized you meant the advanced option under Rhino Options, please ignore my previous post! That worked, thank you!!
