Newbie in rhino, stl doesn't appears

I’m a student and I have installed rhino 7 in my mac, but when i open a stl file, it doesn’t appears anything, if i move the mouse it seems it’s moving but i can’t see the design

My mac is a Imac 2011 - 16 GB RAM - AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB with Catalina OS.

Any suggestions ??

Thx

If you run SelectAll, does the command area say it selected anything? What happens if you do a Zoom All Extents?

Thx

Hi Joan - does the command history show anything at all if you run SelAll?

Yes, but a mesh did get selected…

So it’s somewhere I think. Did you try a Zoom>All>Extents? Or while the mesh is selected, Zoom>Selected? Try different display modes?

However, that being said your specs:

…are completely inadequate for running Rhino V7. I don’t know how you actually got Catalina installed on a 2011 Mac. So your display might just not be working, and probably will never work correctly.

your machine does not meet the system requirements fro rhino 7

Sad to say, because I’m sure it probably still runs a lot of stuff fine, but it’s time for a new machine if you want to get serious about modeling.
