New to Rhino meshes - help troubleshooting Weld

Hello!
I’m new to working with meshes in rhino. I created this one using recap photo.
I’m trying to make one mesh out of the many pieces I have here. I’ve tried to use Weld, but it’s not working. And using Join groups them together, but any manipulation after that reveals holes.
Vertices appear to be coincident, and I’ve tried aligning them with no effect.
Here’s the model:Berry_Manipulated.3dm (1.5 MB)

Hello - as far as I can see your mesh is closed and clean…

ShowEdges says: “Found 3879 edges total; no naked edges, no non-manifold edges.”
What makes you think is has a problem? It will Explode a few pieces but Weld at 180 degrees will prevent that - maybe that is what you’re looking for, but unwelded is also closed and fine as far as Rhino is concerned.

I’m looking to weld the edges together, or join them in some other way, and can’t get the command to work. I’m hoping to manipulated it as one mesh if I can get all the individual pieces to work as one.

but as Pascal says, it’s already a single, closed and clean mesh, you don’t need to weld anything or maybe you are looking for something else that we don’t understand.

Sorry, maybe I’m not understanding something here.
But when I turn PointsOn and try to manipulate points, then the mesh pulls apart along the seams. Which is why I’m trying to Weld the mesh.

I’ve tried to Explode the mesh and Weld it together in the hopes that when I pull on points it doesn’t tear.
Maybe I’m thinking of this wrong.

Yeah, Weld at 180 should prevent that pulling apart.

Thanks for all your help!
For some reason I couldn’t figure this out yesterday, but coming back to it Weld works just as you explained now.
I shouldn’t blame rhino… maybe just needed to sleep on it haha
