If you use user text, you can use DimUserText command in Rhino WIP to speed up your drafting workflow of annotating drawings.
The DimUserText command is most useful when you want to annotate a drawing with a large number of leaders and have the text come from user text of the object. The command allows you to align the leaders to the left and right at the end.
When you run the command:
- Pick a point on an object where you want the leader to point to (object should have at least one user text)
- Use arrow keys to choose the attribute you want to use and press enter (or use the mouse to click on an item in the list)
- Repeat and pick more objects
- Use the
Flipoption to place annotations on the opposite side - Pick more objects
- Line up and space the leaders on both sides
