How about similar detailed controls to what’s already in _Bridge?
Clayoo’s “shell” command gives some control over how an offset is stitched together.
In Rhino 7, _Bridge has a flexible set of options that seem like they could be ported over to _OffsetSubD

Yes, adding all bridge features to OffsetSubD is an interesting and necessary suggestion
Thanks, I added your comments. You can also OffsetSubD not as a solid and then Bridge to get the option for edge loop divisions.
