I really need some help for a group project that I am working on. After spending hours figuring it out and searching, my last option is here. So I appreciate your help:
As in the picture, I have 3 shapes that intersect like that. My goal is so make the inside soft and remove the intersection. Can someone please let me know how I can do that. How can I make the same one and remove all these intersection in the inside so I can later render the interior.
it’s better to share the 3dm file for good understanding.
I suggest you use one of the commands for boolean operations.
I’m not sure what you want to keep and what you want to delete in your objects.
anyway the command _boolean2objects can be the solution.
once the two objects are selected, the command automatically offers you all the possible results.
It’s up to you to choose the result that meets your expectations.
(left click to switch between the possible results and right click to accept)
start with the two round shapes, then move on to the middle object.
Boolean operations may fail in some cases.
the causes can be the presence of certain surfaces on the same plane or the bad overlaps between the edges of the two objects.
