Hi all,
I’m looking for a way to bake a bunch of objects in grasshopper and through rhinocommon add a namedselection containing everything I just baked.
The baking part i can do, (and old fashioned i used attributes.group to group them), but I’d really love to connect this to the namedselections features instead. But I can’t really find it in the RhinoCommon SDK.

you introduced Named Selections already in Rhino7. Since Rhino 7 I am looking forward to see this feature in RhinoCommon. Unfortunately, it is still not in Rhino 8. Why is RhinoCommon so much behind? I have parametric models with over 800 faces. Is it possible to still get this feature within Rhino 8?

There’s a possibility this could show up in 8. I have it slated for v9 but if the back port seems easy enough and doesn’t break anything I could potentially get it into an 8.x service release.
