Name or Style for Roof in VaTable

I haven’t been able to figure out how to get a roof table to display either the name of the Roof Style or the Slabs which make up its components.

Hi @djhg
Thank you for reaching out.
Here is a tutorial video that might help you with what you’re looking for.
Quantity take-offs in Rhino with VisualARQ 3

Or here is a link to another tutorial that shows how to calculate the area and volume of wall layers created with VisualARQ in Rhino and learn how to automatically extract this data and organize it into quantity takeoff tables within the model.

Let me know if this is what you’re looking for or if you need further assistance.

Thankyou Melissa

I viewed two tutorial videos before my post.

After viewing them I was able to manage the basics of tables for objects other than roofs. Despite repeated viewing I wasn’t able to create a complete table for roofs.

I found that when I created a column for data under the name of the roof style or tried to include a column with data for a slab of which the roof is composed, the columns came up blank.

If there’s a video which specifically addresses roof style identification in the table, please let me know.

thanks.

It took another couple of viewings but I seem to have mainly figured it out. They key is to manage choosing the style and then the naming procedure. I found it quite tricky.
