Yes, I am aware of that, precisely why I want to start to rebuild my workspace using native V8 stuff with .svg icons.
Well - it’s not just me then! I’m not able to find where to setup keyboard shortcuts. I’m in the Mac version. The grid snap, ortho, etc have been relocated in a very thin ribbon at the very Botton of my screen - not handy and there’s still plenty of room up top in the header. I can’t manage to stack any panels on the right side so I’ve to make an extra click to check different things.
Excited about the push/pull and auto CPlane additions but why make it such an adventure to get the thing setup!!?
That’s fine. I’m happy to pre-pay for the fix, but please, for our long-term relationship’s sake: fix this mess ASAP in Service Releases, as as top priority. I’ll be using V7 in the meantime.
Mitch @Helvetosaur, This is all my fault for not making it to Barcelona at the last minute. I had a coup planned just for this problem alone. Oh well, maybe next year!

Yeah, I was really looking forward to meeting you person there, I was bummed when your name dropped off the list of guest speakers…
Hope things are good with you and that there will be another possibility soon - before this old dinosaur becomes truly extinct…
Let’s not be blaming anything on the Mac users. We’re just as dismayed with the degrading of the interface!
I was born and raised on PC / Mac debate! Not getting into one. But oh man that Apple Silicon/Metal update caught everyone off guard.
Tell me more. For better or worse, I’m a Mac user - since 1986.
I’ve just placed an order for a machine to replace my old iMac because Apple(arrogant greedy pricks) stops ‘supporting’ anything more than a few years old…
never mind - I have to stop that rant.
Seeing this post raises alarms - Rhino is the most important application I use.
Agreed, despite our differences and timeless arguments. Rhino brings us peace , V8 new unified UI and equal access to grasshopper.
Also small or big we are not a software alliance community we are a maker/creator community where everyone’s contribution is valued and celebrated.
I was a Mac user from 1986 to 1996… My first Mac was an SE. In 1996 I had to learn some CAD + CAM to be able to do my job, and as nothing serious ran on Mac, it was off to Windows world. Never looked back.
I’m one of the OGs here. Back in the 90’s I was using an application called formZ. It was one of very few CAD apps available for Mac. When I learned Rhino was going to be useable I was in heaven!
That said, I was even more encouraged as I’d now at least have a general familiarity with the windows version if I ever managed to find work!
