Are there any plans to make TextureMapping of objects inside blocks be editable without using “BlockEdit” command? What I mean is that in the latest Rhino 8 WIP I’ve noticed some attributes are already editable without “opening” blocks (ctrl + shift and selecting any object allows one to change their layer, color etc.).
This makes sense and is logged as RH-71893 Make all Objectproperties available through the new BlockManager panel.
Splendid, thank you! Maybe one last note on that - block manager has been very, very slow for me in Rhino 8 WIP, so if changing texture mapping for blocks became available it would be helpful to have it also in the properties panel (just like for regular objects).
I think the current version of BlockManager in the WIP just copies over the properties panel that already exists, but @lars will need to confirm. If all properties become available, it would make more sense to me to keep the properties panel separated from the BlockManager.
