How would you go about modeling a road or path intersections in Lands Design? Most, if not all, examples that I can find related to path construction only handle single curves, but in practical use our team needs a solution that can resolve the intersection problem. This is required for roads, sidewalks, and other environment elements that form networks.
You can achieve that by splitting some of the curves you are using to create the paths. I attach one example here, so that you can see how I splitted the curves.
Thank you for your solution! This is exactly what I was trying to solve. Is there a particular order that you use to adjust the curves to the terrain or do you typically try to keep them in the same plane? Does it even matter?
It depends on how you want to define the paths. In that example I draw the curves in the XY plane because I wanted the paths to be there, but if you need to adjust the curves to the terrain it is also possible:
