I’m modeling a facade/form for a k-12 school I’m working on for my design studio. I’m having problems creating the exterior facade, which is a sort of southern sun shade that looks something like this picture i found online. It will be wrapped around a fairly rectilinear interior classroom program. What would be the best approach in modeling this sort of form? I have tried using lofting techniques, and i just cant seem to get the look i’m going for. Any help would be appreciated!
Hi Jesse,
I think it be best of you can post a Rhinofile here with (part of) the building and the desired facade in curves or rough sketch. Showing the failed attempts with loft could also help to point out possible workarounds or alternatives. IMO just this picture alone is to general to give specific advice.
