Missing parts in STEP import in Rhino 8 - UR10e Robot Model

Dear developers,

I just discovered an interesting bug when I tried to import the official model of UR10 robot. It is downloaded from here Universal Robots - Robot Step file - UR10e/UR12e - e-Series (You need a free account to download).

First I used Rhino Version 8 SR11 (8.11.24254.15001, 2024-09-10) to import the STEP file and I noticed some missing links (Base link and one of the wrist link). I then tried it with Rhino Version 7 SR29 (7.29.23107.3001, 2023-04-17) and those missing pieces are imported correctly.

The STEP file is too big to upload here. But it is better if you can just download it from UR website so I don’t redistribute their data.

Hi Victor -

As you can see, the version you are using is almost a year old.
This seems to work fine in a current version.
