Minimum size of hole for 3D printing?

Hello all.

Can somebody advise as to what the smallest size hole in a solid object that is going to be 3D printed can be. Or alternatively, instead of a hole, a shallow, circular recess may be acceptable, to act as a location guide for drilling. How small can I go? Printing will be in frosted ultra detail.

Thank you.

I’d start here and see what the specs for the material are:

Thank you Willem,

they can be much smaller than I thought!

Cheers,
