Mesh edges preview does not work as expected

1. With cmd+4 one can preview the mesh edges in Grasshopper on Mac, or hide them. However this change is only visible after the viewport has been moved.
2. Maybe related to this: When NewFloatingViewport is used, an object is selected, the gumball appears. After deselecting the gumball disappears in the native Rhino viewport, however not in the floating viewport - only again after the viewport has been moved.

Does this one involve Grasshopper?
At any rate, there are several issues with floating viewports on macOS.
