MEsh curvature component

Can anybody explain shortly, what the mesh curvature component in grasshopper is showing per scientific explaination, when the “Method” is set at “quadratic fitting” and the “curvature type” is set at “difference”

There is no native mesh curvature component, so you must be referring to a plugin or script?

thanks for answering, its this mesh curvature component from the “NGon” Plug in, we just want to show the curvature of the mesh/surface during a folding motion and with an easy understanding explaination, so if you have any recommendations would be nice.
