“merge all faces” was formerly called “merge planar faces”.
what faces besides planar ones does this command merge now?
Hello - MergeAllFaces has been in place since V4 if not earlier. The it merges planar faces, it attempts to find all co-planar faces on a polysurface and merge them.

yes, i have been using the command since ages. i was just wondering, if it does something different than the old command or what could have been the reason for the altered name.
for example i would appreciate, if it also merged adjacent cyliders of the same diameter …
