Material/texture from Vray-asset editor not working properly on D5

I made a model using Rhino and used Vray for the materials. I then box-mapped them. Now, we usually use D5 where I work. But the materials that I applied from Vray show black in perspective view in D5, but in the front view, the materials show alright. And I am unable to pick the material in it.
