Masking images

I would like to use textures for my 2d facade drawings. After some research on the net I couldn’t find a way to mask my jpg’s in Rhino. Is there way to do this in 2D? I would prefer not to go back and forth to Illustrator.

.jpg format doesn’t have transparency…

In Rhino material options you can enable “Use color mask” and then set the proper color…

best way to do it is with a tiff or png file with an alpha channel

I just use curves and Trim lol
