Marker changes location acccording to command

So yesterday, everyting worked fine. This morning, I opened up a new session and the marker is not aligned with the cursor. After entering a command, the marker positions itself to a random location. If i look down at the marker location, on the bottom right of the screen) the location of the marker changes depending on what command I push. Note this is without any input from me and happens at the start of a new command. Additionally, if you then try to exercise the command, for example, a line, the line doesn’t show as you are moving the cursor and there may even be an offset from the where the marker drop a point when you clilck rather than at the actual location you click. Since this started, I’ve updated my mac to the most currentl version, restarted it and that didn’t help either. Problem seems very similar to the “Cursor Alignment” issues.

Hi Waterman -

What is “the marker”? Can you share a screen shot or video?
-wim

Have you by any chance checked “Project” in the object snaps and are seeing all points projected to the current Construction plane?

problem solved. It was the new mouse. Thanks!

Sometimes you need to train them… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
