Making Mesh Layer Solid

Hi!

I am working on a backplate for a pendant with this viney floral pattern, which is mesh. What would be the best way to the mesh solid and 1mm thick? I was going to use PlanarSRF but this mesh isn’t compatible. Any tips on how to make this solid would be much appreciated!
