I am trying to create a transitional waffle structure sandwiched between a smooth curved surface (top) and a folding surface (bottom).
My current workaround is using the Bowerbird plugin to generate an oversized waffle structure between two smooth boundary surfaces, and then trimming the bottom with the folded geometry. However, this brute-force method feels quite tedious and often results in tiny, unworkable fragments along the trimmed edges.
I’m wondering if there is a more elegant or robust workflow to achieve this directly?
