Make a Wish! / Interior designer

Hi!

As I am a Rhino lover and an interior designer at the same time,
I thought I’d make a wish list for the McNeel team in preparation
look forward to the next christmas
I gave up AutoCAD a long time ago, but there’s still some time left to give up Revit

Below is my wish list

1.FxSelectedArea or LeadreSelectedArea

The best thing that came out for me in rhino 8 was the definition hatche
through layers. It worked great for furniture, but I stumbled upon it
for the problem with the walls. Well, it is ideal to have all the walls in shape
one block and when I make sections, it’s nice to have a hatch, but…
You know how it is with interiors, sometimes we have different colors of walls, sometimes
we have different materials on the walls. And this is where a few problems arise.
It’s great that I can divide the plane into two parts without breaking the solid.
But I can calculate area + shift + ctrl for individual planes of the solid
but in the case of a description with leader + fx, either the entire back or one plane.
The ideal would be if there was a leader that counts the selected planes and you can
add and remove planes in it. Because I have to provide the square footage of the plasters in the reports,
tiles etc.

2.FxSurfaceMaterial

This brings me to the second important thing. I’m missing the fx option in leader/text in which
I could mark what material the solid has in the plane. This is important because when in drawings
I use solids for cross-sections with defined hatches, I can only use them to describe the material
layer name, which is closest to the truth, but it causes me to have to break the solids into planes
and I lose the ability to make hatches

3.FxObjectMaterial / + Inside block

Another thing that disrupts my workflow a bit is the need to make decisions between blocks
a worksession, blocks are the perfect solution for me, but! they have one drawback, which is
the advantage of worksession, I can use fx object descriptions from worksession as it would be a regular object
in the model. If I could do this relative to blocks, that would be wonderful.

4.Draging light in/out of the grout
It would be nice to be able to, like with layers, be able to drag lights into and out of a group.

If necessary, I can expand on the topics with examples, and I have already written quite a lot

Regards!
