Maintain height doesn't work

In the attached file - I have tried sweep 2 with maintain height in the handle part of the hammer, unfortunately maintain height doesn’t work. Why is it?

That’s because the two rails come together in one single point. If you separate these just a fraction, maintain height will work.

Hi, I have a similar problem, but in Grasshopper, I need to Maintain Height. The Sweep2 component has a Maintain Height prperty which is not working. Any thoughts on why this might be?
