You need to download the LunchBox ZIP version. This has all of the individual Lunchbox files without the Windows installer. Try this: https://www.food4rhino.com/system/files/users-files/nathan-miller/app/provinggroundlunchbox-201781.zip Once downloaded, copy LunchBox.gha and LunchBoxML.gha to your /Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/6.0/Plug-ins/Grasshopper (b45a29b1-4343-4035-989e-044e8580d9cf)/Libraries folder.

Hi Jeff.
I have tried everything and even opening the special components folder and nothing seems to work. The plug-in and grasshopper file does not show up on my mac. I have also tried downloading the zip file. Does anyone have any ideas or a different track? thanks in advance.

Thank you ! that is very helpful link introducing me different types to install plugin.
And I also find comment under youtube comment helps me to find good path for Rhino 7 .
In grasshopper (inside the program) go to file> Special Folders> Components Folder and drag the whole unzipped lunchbox folder there. I have Mac and Rhino 7, so yes, it works. (/Users/myuser/Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/7.0/Plug-ins/Grasshopper (b45a29b1-4343-4035-989e-044e8580d9cf)/Libraries)

ho lo stesso problema che hai avuto tu nell’installazione di LUNCHBOX in quanto ho un MAC: mi dà lo stesso errore e non ho il percorso nel quale inserire il plug-in.
Posso chiederti come hai fatto?

It looks like LunchBox does not work in the WIP, only the Machine learning tab is loading.
Has anyone got it working on Mac in WIP8?

Same here, only ML loads in RhinoWIP 8 on Mac. Such a shame that there hasn’t been any Mac support as it mostly ran fine till v8

Same Here !! It is very bad that it doesn’t work on Rhino 8 for Mac, since I use LunchBox almost daily…
If someone knows a fix please let us know.

Lunchbox works fine on my Intel MBP16", installed via PackageManager. It however seems to be incompatible with ARM / Apple Silicon for now. Hope the developers will update it!

Here is an interim “solution” for RH8 on AppleSilicon:

OpenNest not working on Rhino8 + Macbook M2 Pro

Of the ones I have tested (Karamba, OpenNest, NGon), these have native assemblies (non .NET) that are compiled for x64 only. If you right click on Rhino 8.app > Get Info, and check Open using Rosetta, it should get these working. However, do note that since Rhino will be running in x64 on Apple Silicon, it will not be as fast but should at least match Rhino 7.
