Looking for ways to create spline based walls

I’m looking to create walls from spline curves and have considered several options in the absence of spline support in the Add Wall (Curve):

  1. Direct shapes
    - Downside is limited editability in Revit, so I can’t really make small tweaks as I go.

  2. Convert the splines to polylines and use those to create the walls
    - Downside is that any connected walls cannot be moved easily in Revit after the fact
→ (need to unjoin/ rejoin and trim/ extend)

  3. Create a conceptual mass with extrusion surfaces
    - This, in theory should allow me to create walls by faces
→ However, for some reason, I can not create the Conceptual Mass

Using conceptual massing tools in Revit, it is easy to create a spilne based extrusion.

These surfaces can be turned into walls through wall by face:

This makes me wonder what I am doing wrong in the RiR approach below.
SplineWall_Conceptual mass.gh (12.2 KB)
Test-Splinebox.3dm (66.2 KB)

E: Seems like Revit doesn’t accept direct shapes for its wall by face tool.

Correct,

Try using a Generic Model family instead.

Nice, that’s what I was looking for. Are there components to add the wall by face through GH as well? It does not look like it’s possible, but I might be mistaken.

It is a feature request, there are a couple scripted components on the forum.
