Loft Command creating weird Geometry

So im trying to create a textured surface connected to a box. I use displacement to create the texture, turn it into a mesh and then use Dupborder to create the curve. Any idea why this is happening?

posting a file would help you more. posting a video is good, but a file would be much better, otherwise people keep guessing and you still might not be helped.

one guess: extrude the lower straight curve and use the upper kinky curve to trim it, if it aligns orthogonally with the lower boundary.

Try extending the box vertically past your texture and trim the box with it. Maybe convert them both to meshes, trim and join.
