Link CAD into Revit using RIR

Hi all, I wonder if we can use RIR to batch link CAD files into Revit.
I know the common work flow in Revit is: you add a drafting view, then you link a dwg file in this view.
But if you have quite a few of this dwg files, it would be a tedious job for human… so I am curious if we can ask the machine to do the repetitive work.

I can find the “Add drafting view” component, but I cannot find any “Link dwg” or “Link file” component. Does it have another name in RIR?

I’ve added your vote to the existing feature request.

This will probably involve several components, due to the many options available for imports/linking.

I wonder when we can have this great function added… I cannot wait to use it. I heard that you can do it in Dynamo but it is a pity that I don’t how to use Dynamo…But I have hundreds sheets to do recently :smiling_face_with_tear:

Is there an auto link model to Revit even just one by one process? without going to the revit link prompting? even a python or c# custom component for now?
