I’d like to continue the development of a Grasshopper plugin (started, on Rhino it would be to be written), and then publish it and ask for a small fee (5€?.. I don’t know), while maintaining the copyrights.
So I would like to grant download and use.
Does anyone have any advice on this?
I know that Mcneel has Cloud licenses (see karamba), but I don’t know anything about it. Can someone enlighten me?
Thanks
Bye
Hello
I didnt use the Mc Neel tool. I dont remember why and ended writing my own tool. It uses a plublic key and a licence with an encrypted part in an xml file.
It uses multiple level of licence. And also the class allow to output partial results instead of nothing.
If you don’t expect much income, sell it from Gumroad and don’t waste your time. If it’s something more serious, I would do it like Laurent. They could share it and prevent someone else from paying for it, but maybe that’s cheaper than spending your time setting up Rhino or custom licenses.
