It shows that the license is expiring in 39 days? I currently hold a license for rhino 7.
Yep, WIP releases expire, intentionally.

so sad because my m1 mac works the best on this version… hope for the official release soon!
part of the duties of being a WIP user is to report if something goes wrong. so I suggest staying up to date and speak up!
the problem with wip is… once got a try, I can never go back lolz
Hi -
I can’t tell from the conversation here if you’ve gotten the answer you need. Sorry to state the obvious if that’s the case…
Just to make sure - your license is not expiring. It’s the WIP that expires, and they do after 45 days from release. Within that time, a new WIP is released every week (unless something goes wrong and we need to skip a week), typically on Tuesday afternoons Seattle time. Simply install the new WIP when it comes out and continue using it until Rhino 8 is officially released.

Thank you so much for clarifying! I thought I won’t be able to use the wip version after 39 days as mentioned in the attached screenshot. Knowing that I am able to reinstall rhino wip after the old one expires is truly a blessing.
Hi -
Please don’t wait until the WIP has expired. Just update it every week.

Usually. Occasionally they will skip a week. You can skip a week or two too, if it’s not convenient to update.
